Welcome to my second pageant experience. If you haven’t heard about the first check out my blog post called “my first pageant experience – Aussie Power Pageant 2018.”
My second pageant experience is was Miss Fashion Week Australia 2019. I joined for the State finals and even though from New South Wales competed in Brisbane Queensland as it’s easier travel from where I am.
This competition focuses on catwalk ability’s and runway model style as well as promoting all shapes and sizes. It was such a fun day with beautiful hosts. We competed in categories of petite and tall, where I fell into the Miss petites. The other girls were so lovely and we all had a good laugh and took selfies backstage.
I got to meet this queen 👑 (above), Miss Fashion Week Universe 2019, Saloni Kalra! Miss Kalra won MFW Australia title before competing internationally and bringing home the crown to Oz. 👏
There were only two areas of competition; active wear and all black outfit.
I ended up winning in my category! Picture above announcing winners of each category. Although unfortunately after being chosen was unable to attend the National finals held in Melbourne that year! 😦
The pageant system is definitely one of love to join and do again! 💓
